CITAB Sector Advisory Committees

There are currently six CITAB Sector Advisory Committees:

• General Construction Committee

• Services Sector Committee

• Civil Construction Committee

• Off-site Construction Committee

• Professional/Para-Professional Sectors Committee

• Group Training Committee  

The role of the Committees encompass:

• Projected employment changes in the industry sectors

• Vocational education and training needs of industry sectors

• Formulation of advice leading to Board determination of training policy

• Interpreting the effects on industry of State and Federal Policies

• Resource requirements and priorities for funding allocation

• School based vocational training and higher education

• Identifying and supporting the training needs of the sector

• Providing a representative forum for the industry on Education and Training issues.
